Getting to
Long Island
Arriving from your home country, and regretfully, having to leave Long Island is convenient and efficient. The most direct way is via a direct flight on Delta, American, and Continental Airlines from the States or Air Canada direct from Toronto. Several scheduled daily flights to Nassau are available on a number of major airlines out of North America and Europe, in addition to many private charters. Entry requires just a valid passport and a return flight, which you’ll likely be tempted to just tear up after your first day here.
Via
Nassau
Upon arriving in Nassau you will first clear customs and immigration before continuing on to either the domestic wing of the airport to connect with a commercial commuter flight or to one of the three FBOs for a private charter flight. If you wish to continue from Nassau to Long Island on a commercial carrier, it is convenient with two daily flights available on Bahamas Air.
