The Breakwater

The house was as advertised! We had a family of 13 and everyone was pleased with the house and the grounds. The views were pretty spectacular and the beach was basically empty except for us. There was some typical wear and tear on the outdoor furniture, but this is not unexpected and is something we see at just about every house we rent that is on a beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in the Bahamas and would absolutely rate it 5 stars. The house was beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well equipped. You can tell a lot of thought went into making guests comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with the accessories and essentials we needed, which made meals at the house easy, and the pool toys, and board games were such a fun added touch. What really made this home stand out was the layout. It was perfect for our large group, with plenty of room to gather together while still allowing everyone to have their own space. One of the best features was the separate living space by the pool, which provided a nice sense of privacy and seclusion, perfect for grandparents, older kids, or anyone who wanted a little extra space. This home was such a great fit for our group and made our trip to the Bahamas even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a beautiful and thoughtfully designed place to stay. Also the owner Meghan was absolutely great to work with. She was helpful and extremely kind. She genuinely cared about making sure we had a great trip.

Our stay was great. We were a family of 11 traveling with 5 adult couples & the 6 bedroom/6 bathroom layout was just what we wanted. The hostess & homeowners were very responsive to our needs. Half the week was windy but Chat n Chill on Stocking Island was protected from the wind & waves & the heated pool at the house also helped with those days. The only time we saw anybody on the beach at the house was a couple people walking Friday morning. The bar at the pool with the swings was a great way to socialize with each other both in & out of the water. Would definitely stay here again.
