Savage Sands

We had the most amazing winter getaway at the gorgeous Savage Sands. The pictures really do not do it justice. Shawn was a fantastic host and Stephanie was incredible with frequent communications and accommodating our multiple travel delays. We highly recommend Exuma and Savage Sands, you won’t be disappointed.

The owner and host were both amazing. I have been to the Caribbean many times, this was my favorite vacation rental by far. Beaches and home are pristine. Some of the most accommodating people I have met on any trip. We rode hydro bikes and took pigs/iguana tour both were worth every penny. My 70 plus year old parents and my 4 year old both had everything they could have wanted. This place is perfect for any age. The heated pool was a wonderful spot to relax.Exuma is truly a slice of heaven! I genuinely believe after touring the island this is the best vacation rental in Exuma! Would never go anywhere else!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Savage Sands. The home is in a perfect location, right on the beach with incredible views of Tar Bay and a central spot on Exuma that made exploring the island easy. The house had everything we needed from the private gym to kayaks, beach toys, snorkel gear and more. We especially appreciated the thoughtful book of local recommendations that Stephanie and Andrew provided. It was filled with great ideas of things to do from nearby snorkeling spots to local restaurants and other hidden gems around the island. This was our third trip to Exuma, and Savage Sands has been our favorite stay yet. We would absolutely choose this home again.

Our week at Savage Sands was amazing! The house is impecably kept and has everything you need for your stay in Exuma (tons of beach and pool toys for the family!) The views are incredible, the beach is clean and calm to relax or be in the ocean all day. We loved hanging out in the infinity pool. The inside of the house is beautiful, very airy and bright, very pleasant to lie ge indoors and look at the views. Only thing I wished was an outdoor dinning area in the back with views to the ocean, but you still have a BBQ and table located in the front.My kids loved hunting for crabs at night and finding hermit crabs along the deck!Stephanie and Andrew replied to my inquiries very quickly and had all the information you may need to make bookings and restaurant reservations (a must!) Shawn, the house manager, was very polite and helpful as well. Overall, would highly recommend a stay at this incredible property!

We had a wonderful stay at Savage Sands! The views were absolutely stunning, and the decor was stylish and welcoming. The location was perfect—convenient to both ends of the island—making it easy to explore. The home was well-stocked with great amenities, and the guide book full of local tips and suggestions was a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!

If there is a nicer place to stay on Exhuma, I don’t know what it could possibly be. The house is absolutely spectacular, no detail has been overlooked. The pool is fantastic and is right on a beautiful white-sand beach. Our family spent time on paddle boards and kayaks and spent nights on the Wii and many indoor games. The owners have provided cornhole, spike ball, and all kinds of amenities to ensure a delightful family vacation. They are responsive and offer detailed suggestions to make your stay spectacular. It is without hesitation that we recommend Savage Sands and can’t wait for our next trip back.

We cannot put into words how much we loved our stay at Savage Sands! The house is perfectly located and the view is mesmerizing! The hosts were accessible for questions and provided a wealth of information, which made our stay a breeze! We were so sad to leave, but we will definitely be back! The house is paradise in paradise!!!

Savage sands is an amazing beach house. From the stunning views of the ocean to the intriguing architecture, the house offers everything one would need. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The house was well equipped with everything from kitchen amenities to laundry detergent. The house was impeccably clean upon arrival. The beach was steps away and we enjoyed multiple sunrises and sunset walks. The heated pool was a plus on some overcast cooler days. Location was ideal, 10 mins away from the airport and Georgetown. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and we had no issues. I would never think of staying anywhere else if we return to Exuma.

This is by far the best house on the island !! The only thing we regret was not staying longer. Thank you Stephanie for letting us stay at your beautiful home . We will be back !!!
