Sueno de Mar

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed this beautiful home. The house was spacious, comfortable, well maintained, and perfect for our group. It provided a wonderful setting for our vacation, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We also want to recognize the rental agents and staff. They were very responsive, professional, and attentive. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance with anything, they responded quickly, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping our staying ln the Bahamas more enjoyable and memorable.

Wonderful host, awesome house, perfect location! Can’t say enough about the accommodations. Very very clean, tidy and spacious. Each room has its own bathroom , lots of paddleboards and kayaks right on its beach, bbq, pool - all you need really for an amazing stay. Town, groceries, restaurants all an easy drive off the main road. Host company and staff is super attentive and responsive. They’ll help with anything. Highly recommend and will go back.

We picked the PERFECT house for our Exuma vacation. Sueno De Mar had everything we were looking for and MORE. First, the location is perfect. Located just across from The Lazy River in Moriah Harbor we could easily paddle there with the included kayaks and paddle boards, just keep an eye on the wind. We enjoyed walking out from the beach and wading out into the beautiful water. We also rented a boat for our stay and it was easily kept in the included boat dock with a pier. The pool was always clean and comfortable--warm enough to enjoy at night and refreshing after a long day in the sun. The house itself was great. It kept a nice cool temperature (in fact it was a little chilly inside in the morning!). It had all the amenities needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable, some were softer than others so try them out and if someone has a preference. We had no problem navigating our rental car from the restaurants and stores in Georgetown (about 15 minutes). What made the stay even better was the great information provided by the rental company. We enjoyed Sueno De Mar so much that we booked it again!

This was our 5th visit to Exuma in 4 years! To say we love this island would be an understatement. We have never stayed at the same place twice, mainly because we are trying to find our perfect location for potentially owning someday! Sueno Del Mar checked just about every single box for us. We had 7 and the layout was perfect. We love how the bedrooms are on the far sides of the house so the kids had a “wing” and the adults had their own, quiet rooms on the opposite side. The living and dining areas were wide open and superbly set up for hanging out and family meals. I’ve never sat on a more comfortable couch either!! Loved the wood-look tile floors and minimalistic design/decor. The home was pretty well maintained, and we never had any issue with the main living areas not having AC. We left the bedroom doors open with ceiling fans on during the day while we were out and it cooled the main part of the house with no issue. We were never home during the day, so we were completely unbothered by the lack of central AC. The bedrooms were always cool and super comfy. We loved having the dock to keep a rented boat, and the pool was just perfection after a long hot day in the harbor and beaches! The grill worked perfectly for us to grill burgers one night as well. I have no complaints, other than I wish the house were MINE! (seriously, if owners decide to sell, I want first right of refusal, we have been looking for years now!! Moriah Harbor is where we want to own )
