Orchid House

Had a perfect week. The view is absolutely stunning from this house. Perfect house for a few friends, couple, or small family. The house sits close to a sandbar so the water is calmer here than other parts of the island. In the evening you can almost walk to the barrier islands dotting the view. Excellent sunset views from the porches. Could have spent the whole trip on the sundeck. Spencer and Brendi made everything easy to find. We rented a Cube from Brendi, which got around the Bahamian roads with ease. The house is well decorated with everything we needed. We cooked most nights and were never lacking for tools in the kitchen. We weren’t on devices much because there was so much to do, but for the bit of work we had to do, the internet connection did not disappoint.

This place in Exuma was everything we hoped for and more. The view was breathtaking; waking up to the water and soaking in those turquoise blues was unforgettable. The home had all the amenities we needed and was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. A huge shoutout to the co-host, Brendi, who truly went above and beyond. She helped us get stocked with supplies and shared amazing recommendations for local places to eat and shop. We felt so well taken care of!

Amazing views. Great location right on the water. Cozy house that worked well for 4 adults. Little tough to find, (roads in exuma are not marked and pretty rough). Once we found it, was worth the trip. Happy and surprised to find beach chairs, kayak, few spices etc. Brendee was super sweet and even helped us with car. Highly recommend…one important note for future guest is bring bug spray. No see ems made it tough to enjoy outside long. Low tide was wonderful. We were able to walk all the way across the ocean to smaller island opposite side! So cool 😊

The view is wonderful! Spencer was always answering our questions. The ants colony in the kitchen was a bit annoying but we suppose this will be fixed. The house is furnished, not to fulfill our expectation which was at the level of the view and the price (eg. used linen, no dishwasher which is known from the description, plastic dishes, we have not found a vacuum cleaner which can be helpful for longer stay). Overall the place is great (all you need to enjoy the outside as well), the house is good (the drinking water available is definitely a plus), the hosts are really helpful. We may not be the targeted customers except for the beautiful view!

Je suis partie seule aux Bahamas et j’ai rencontré pas mal de problèmes avant mon arrivée (plus de cash, plus d’adaptateur, plus de connexion). Le directeur de l’hôtel et le personnel se sont donné beaucoup de mal pour résoudre ces difficultés, et ils ont fait preuve d’une grande patience, car je ne parle pas anglais. Le directeur m’a même proposé de garder la chambre plus longtemps afin que je puisse prendre une douche après mon excursion, avant de me rendre à l’aéroport. Il a également réservé un taxi pour mon retour. Il a vraiment tout fait pour assurer ma sécurité et mon confort, depuis mon arrivée jusqu’à mon départ ! Je n’ai jamais rencontré des personnes aussi gentilles et bienveillantes. J’ai été très touchée et, sans eux, je ne sais pas comment j’aurais fait. Je n’oublierai jamais ce qu’ils ont fait pour moi. Merci infiniment !

This place was amazing and perfect for a family holidays. Staff were incredibly friendly, we LOVED Yunès and all of her colleagues. There is security 24/7 and the location is all gated so it is pretty safe, there are two pools that were really clean (I read a review saying they were not and I dont understand it, Ive seen staff coming to clean the pools regularly) and they freely rent tennis racks and balls so you can play on the tennis court. The room was also very clean. It could use a little bit of love (only 2 stoves out of 4 were working, the hot water is unstable) but for the price you pay I dont think it could be any better. It is well located, walking distance to a small grocery shop, the beach, and the Atlantis Marina (lots of cute little restaurants). The location is very cute too with lots of palm trees and flowers. The gym is closed since 2023 from what I read and you cannot expect the mini mart or restaurant to be open as they do not open everyday. Apart from that, there is nothing more we could have asked for. Thank you for this amazing stay. Would 100% rebook.

I am a longer term resident than mere holiday or business trip. I love it here, the service is very good, the complex is quiet and homely. There are a number of swimming pools that are well maintained and a tennis court, which I still have to try. There is a laundromat service, you need quarters for that, and there is a gym room, however it is inoperative at the moment. You will enjoy the stay for sure.
