Orchid House

We basically walked right into the home. Beautifully arranged with master bath on one side and 3 other bedrooms on the other. King bed was very comfortable with fine sheets and pillows. Big kitchen and clean. The outdoor private pool and having round dining table that easily seated 8 people were our focus while on our stay. About 8-10 min walk to cabbage beach which is nice. <br/>Security desk directly in front of the property makes you feel safe. <br/>Owners were very responsive and even set us up with taxi service to and from the airport. <br/>Advise; if you are staying longer than a few days and want to take advantage of the outdoor grill, it would pay to go grocery shopping and be prepared to pay 50% or more for groceries compared to the US. But lunch and dinner out are more expensive too. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home for your stay on paradise island!

The transportation was a challenge with our toddlers and the need for safety car seats. Silk Cotton provided them however some of the vans were not compatible with securing them with harnesses. Otherwise every request we had with Silk Cotton was fulfilled.<br/>We were able to attend all our planned events and outings. Others should book vehicles with normal automobile seats in order to install them properly.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Orchid House. It was a great location with Atlantis, the beach, and the grocery store all within walking distance. Our group of 5 adults and 3 children had more than enough space and the in home laundry was a huge convenience. The host also generously allowed us a late checkout which was much appreciated as we had a late departing flight. We are already talking about our return trip!

The house was everything and more than advertised. We had six adults and three kids (7,4,1) during our stay and house provided all the space needed to enjoy our stay and not feel like we were on top of each other. <br/>Great kitchen with every thing you need to to cook or grill.<br/>Walking distance of Atlantis, the beach, and local food stands.<br/>Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at the Orchard House. We had quite a few flight issues and Scott was so helpful to allow us to move our dates slightly so we were still able to enjoy the same amount of time there which was above and beyond our expectations! The house was very clean and great to have a bathroom in every bedroom! I would highly recommend to anyone else considering a trip to Nassau.

A perfect Airbnb in my opinion. Everything from location, to privacy (24-7 security on site), and just gorgeous. The beds are also SOOOO comfortable - what more could you ask for. <br/>The hosts are also so communicative which makes everything so much easier when it comes to questions, tips, etc. <br/>Highly recommend.

The villa is beautiful and well maintained with space for a family of 5. Everything is walkable (0.3-0.5 miles) but definitely not close for those that may have trouble. It was quiet and relaxing. We were told at the time that the woman that does guest services was on leave so we didn’t get a lot of help finding things. For example the first day we were there I asked if there was any restaurants around and the response from the woman at the front desk was. “I don’t know”. In the end we walked around and found a place down at Marina Village (maybe 0.3 miles away). If you are looking for activities you will need to figure it out on your own. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Now that we are familiar with where things are I would go back again. Just wish they could have been a little more helpful our first night or two. <br/>The shuttle service is a nice addition. The driver is friendly and responsive.

We had a fabulous stay! The place was beautiful and located in a peaceful neighborhood, with the added convenience of being able to walk back and forth to Atlantis. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was clean and well maintained. We felt right at home. Loved the decor.<br/>The host was fantastic, very responsive and even arranged transportation for us to and from the airport, which made our trip so much easier.<br/>All in all, we had a great stay and would absolutely choose this place again if we ever visit the Bahamas in the future!

Je suis partie seule aux Bahamas et j’ai rencontré pas mal de problèmes avant mon arrivée (plus de cash, plus d’adaptateur, plus de connexion). Le directeur de l’hôtel et le personnel se sont donné beaucoup de mal pour résoudre ces difficultés, et ils ont fait preuve d’une grande patience, car je ne parle pas anglais. Le directeur m’a même proposé de garder la chambre plus longtemps afin que je puisse prendre une douche après mon excursion, avant de me rendre à l’aéroport. Il a également réservé un taxi pour mon retour. Il a vraiment tout fait pour assurer ma sécurité et mon confort, depuis mon arrivée jusqu’à mon départ ! Je n’ai jamais rencontré des personnes aussi gentilles et bienveillantes. J’ai été très touchée et, sans eux, je ne sais pas comment j’aurais fait. Je n’oublierai jamais ce qu’ils ont fait pour moi. Merci infiniment !
