Wonderful experience. Alex was a gem of a host, extremely responsive and accommodating. The house is fantastic - location is A+, wonderful staff, and a very rare to find home…well designed, layered & collected look as opposed to all the garden variety rental home decor out there in almost everything else. 10/10, we’ll definitely return!

Had a wonderful week at the Blue Ruin. Everything about the experience was outstanding beginning with the host. Alex was very responsive, helpful, and checked in several times during our stay. The house was clean, roomy and quaint, loaded with books, games, and interesting knick-knacks. It was also well-equipped with everything we needed for the week’s stay. The housekeeper and groundskeeper took excellent care of their respective areas and the local manager was also available as needed. The location is outstanding, close to the government dock and easily accessible to the beaches and town. We were a family of five but the housekeeper could easily accommodate mor. Hands down, one of the best vacations we have ever had!

We had the best time on Harbour Island! The Blue Ruin has so much charm, the location is perfect, and has everything you need. We were able to walk to dinners - Devine sushi, the landing, and the rock house. Getting around via golf carts was so fun for the kids. Alex was so helpful with recommendations and quick to respond to anything we needed. We traveled with four kids under the age of 3 and she even installed a baby gate on the back porch so the kids couldn’t get to the pool. We went out for dinner every night but could have easily stayed in and enjoyed the sunsets from the house. We used Leslie Gustav to arrange a boat for two days and had Capt Stevie and Jaden - can’t recommend them enough. So friendly and helpful with small kids. We will definitely be back. Only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful week at Blue Ruin! The home is beautiful and the location can’t be beat. Alex and her staff were easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We enjoyed the pool, the pink sand beach, and a charted boat day on the water. We all had a wonderful trip and have many memories to share from our stay at The Blue Ruin!
