That’s living The Good Life.

Grotto Bay was ideal for what we were looking for during our four-day stay on Long Island. I brought my two children and their significant others, and the house gave all of us our own bedrooms and bathrooms, which was perfect. The house is very well located, with a liquor store, grocery store and several great restaurant options all within about five minutes. Grotto Bay itself is extremely well equipped, and the air conditioning worked amazingly well—particularly appreciated during the summer months! One of the highlights of our stay was renting a boat from Long Island Boat Rentals. They delivered the boat directly to the beach in front of the house, and we were able to keep it on a mooring just offshore for the duration of our stay. You really can't ask for much more than that. The grotto and cave system adjoining the property is another amazing feature, complete with bats and plenty of other creatures to discover. One piece of advice: don't explore the caves at night after too many cocktails—it makes for quite an experience! Cheryl took wonderful care of us throughout our stay and was always available with local knowledge, insider tips and suggestions for things to do. The Good Life Vacation Rentals also took excellent care of us from beginning to end. Everything was handled professionally and made our stay easy and enjoyable. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend both Grotto Bay and The Good Life Vacation Rentals to anyone planning a stay on Long Island. We would happily return. Jose

I stayed at the villa for four days, and it is one of the most gorgeous villas I have ever been to. The view, the master bedroom, the kitchen, and all the beautiful little details in the decor…just wow!<br/>The team was on top of everything. They communicated so well and were incredibly understanding. <br/>This place will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ I also loved that there are so many different areas of the villa where you can relax and enjoy yourself. You can spend time by the water, sit on top of the beach cabana and watch the sunset, or gather around the fire pit and make s’mores. We did all of it! <br/>If I ever come back to the Bahamas, this is where I’ll stay. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful place to create memories.

I absolutely loved my stay at Silk Cotton! The location was convenient and easily accessible, and I didn’t realize the property had two pools💦that was such a treat. Happy hour was a whole vibe, and I definitely want to return to experience it again.<br/>The restaurant staff were pleasant, helpful, and made us feel very comfortable. The gym was a big hit with my sons and his friends, while I thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi. I also loved having a hammock right outside our spacious villa. The kitchen was well stocked, and the entire property was beautifully shaded🌴which this tall cup of chocolate truly appreciated!<br/>Although I’m a local, Silk Cotton felt like a home away from home and gave me the feeling of being abroad. I’ve already shared the link with my contacts because everyone who saw my photos wanted to know where I was.<br/>I totally loved the experience and highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning! Even after checkout, the service remained exceptional, left items🙃 behind.
