Ocean Daze Estate

We absolutely loved Ocean Daze, the property was beautiful with access to the beach steps away. The host was wonderful who made sure we had everything we needed including lots of recommendations for touring the island. The house accommodated the four of us with plenty of room to spread out. The wrap-around deck was amazing to wake-up and enjoy coffee while the sun rises over the ocean.Ocean Daze is a 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend to anyone that wants to stay at a private island getaway.

The home is located on a secluded private island with beautiful native landscapes. We loved walking on the pristine pink sand beach that goes on for miles. Our family enjoyed swimming, snorkeling and kayaking around the mangroves. Miranda our host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Her home was immaculately decorated and well equipped. We would love to come back!

Our stay at Ocean Daze was nothing short of amazing. The house Miranda and her husband built is absolutely beautiful. We love the privacy of the island, the crystal blue water, and the pink sand beach. Miranda was so helpful with dinner ideas and making sure we had everything we needed. Reservations are already made for next year! Update: We had our third visit to Ocean Daze in March 2024 and it was amazing as usual. We loved our quiet morning walks along the beach and our afternoon naps on the porch. Miranda’s house is beautiful and she is always available for help or advice when needed.

We and our daughter with 3 kids (age 8 , 6 and 2 ) spent 10 marvelous days in this amazing property right at the beach. Miranda was always available and attentive to our needs. Wonderful host! We enjoyed the peace, the deserted beach, the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. We could leave the older kids exploring the property with no problem and being Windermere Island entrance guarded 24 hrs. by security, gave us an additional safe feeling. Definitely best place in Eleuthera!

BEWARE! We left after 2 days. The photos are not a depiction of the homes current state. There was so much dust, dirt, grease & grime throughout that it triggered an allergic reaction in my son even after we spent several hours cleaning. The linens & towels were soiled, dead bugs in the bed, curtains stained, layers of grease & crusted food on stove & fridge, mold everywhere. Everything was dated & did not work. Trash from the sea as “decorations” inside and out. The games, bikes, toys, are 20+ yrs old & crumbling, there were no “amenities” as expected or communicated. No generator when the power goes out. The homeowner is present & is intrusive. She controls the nest air remotely (78-87F). Texts constantly asking to turn off the lights, unlock doors (after we fixed broken lock) for her to enter the home. There are devices throughout that can be set for active listening. Rusty screws poking out of the deck, furniture rusted & dirty. Loud construction on both sides of the house with workers looking directly into the tiki hut. The beach was filled with sargassum & bugs & unusable. My kids were digging up piles of buried trash on the property. Her island services are a scam for more money and I found better vendors on my own. After all of this she still refused to refund for the days we did not stay. In all our travels we have never encountered a rental as dirty & disappointing as this one & strongly advise anyone to reconsider if you are planning to rent with Miranda.
