Cottage At Palmetto Bay

Seabatical was a beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed home with an absolutely perfect beachfront location. The ease and access to the beach - one of the prettiest we saw in the Exumas - was right outside the door. It was equipped for hosting groups - perfect for families especially because some of the beds are bunk beds. The concierge was helpful with arrangements for excursions and there is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away. The oven was not usable when we were there and it is a top end price point, but given the perfect location I would definitely be thrilled to return to Seabatical! It is an Exuma dream!

Pictures don't do the listing justice! Their home is truly a slice of heaven. Wonderful property, great amenities - couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend this property! The hosts were amazingly responsive and extremely friendly. They also gave us recommendations for outings and they were also fabulous. Exuma itself is a wonderful place with friendly people and highly recommend the area. The beach is pristine , private and calm. We had a toddler and teenagers and all were very happy!

The overall stay was great and the direct access to the beach was a plus. The pool is definitely bigger than what the pictures shows. The chef was good. I just hoped the concierge service was more available as noted in the description. Most of the time we had to fetch our own taxis to get to places and with a group of 14 it was difficult at times. Besides that the place is beautiful and relaxing.

Everything was exactly as shown and described. It was even more beautiful in person. There were 7 of us. 4 adults and 3 small children and we all enjoyed every bit of our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a private and peaceful getaway. We would definitely return again. Thank you Ralph, Ayana, and Chef Renaldo!

This place is what dreams are made of. We ended up here for only a short portion of our trip because our original accommodations were not as advertised. Ralph, the home, and the location made us wish we had stayed here the entire time. The pool is larger than many on the island. The furnishings are high quality. The views are TO DIE FOR. Having a sandy beach on Exuma is a luxury, especially with the tides. The beach here was present around the clock. The area is tucked into a cove, which creates calmer waters and incredibly soft sand. There is no detail forgotten here including a closet full of outdoor stuff for the pool/ocean. My absolute favorite about this home are the much-needed retractable screens on the porch. Sadly, the people before us completely abused the place, delaying our check in. This was to no fault of Ralph and team, and they worked quickly to get everything back in pristine condition. They even let us put stuff in the fridge early. Thank you for saving our vacation!
